4 Steps to Anti-Aging Skin Care

We are living in a truly remarkable time and this goes well beyond smartphones and social media. Technological advances in our skin care products are making surgery to achieve a more youthful and healthy look to our skin almost unnecessary. Keyden Grace is going to focus on some of the basics this coming month. If you are over 40 and not using at least a few of these steps, you should give them a try. To make it more affordable, just add one step to your routine each month or two. We will highlight products to help you Cleanse, Exfoliate, Pre-Moisturize and Moisturize.

We are going to focus here on the second step to a sound anti-aging routine: Exfoliation.

You should exfoliate once or twice a week. This is going to be a hard sell to people who have sensitive skin. Fortunately, there are products made for you to also benefit from the wonderful results that just simply adding exfoliation to your routine can produce. It’s important to exfoliate to remove dead skin cells and regenerate growth of new skin cells. Exfoliation opens your pores by clearing away dead skin cells so your pre-moisturizing products can really seep into your skin and you can get the most benefits from them. There are many different brands available and, there are numerous types of exfoliates on the market designed to address each individual skin care need. Keyden Grace offers some different products so that all skin types can take advantage of these easy and affordable anti-aging products.

Dry and Sensitive: Try: Kate Somervile ExfoliKate® Gentle. It is made with natural fruits and herbs that improve the tone of the skin and lactic acid gently exfoliates. You could also try out the Bio-Performance Super Exfoliating Discs from Shiseido which are recommended for all skin types.

Acne-prone: you definitely do not want to irritate your skin so we recommend Blemish Remedy®Acne Treatment Gelee Cleanser. It’s active ingredients include salicylic acid which helps reduce blemishes, sea salt which refines the skin, ginger root and peppermint.

If you are looking to add just one affordable step to your anti-aging skin care routine, purchasing an exfoliation product is an effective, low-cost investment.
